Numerous trees were downed on the northwest side of Tipp City. Two people received minor injuries when a tree fell onto a house on Arapaho Trail. Trees also fell on several other houses in the area. In addition, athletic fencing was damaged at Tippecanoe Middle School.
Water rescues were being performed across the county, but especially in the Troy and Tipp City areas for people being trapped in cars stranded by flash flooding. The flash flooding was caused by heavy rainfall.
Numerous large trees were sheared or uprooted. Nineteen loaded trailers were overturned and two air conditioning units were blown off a roof at a distribution center. Eight wooden high voltage electric poles were snapped. Another semi trailer was overturned on a highway. These occurrences were due to damaging thunderstorm winds.
The tornado pushed cars off of the road, peeled siding from houses, downed several trees, damaged storage buildings and destroyed several campers and RV's on a sales lot.
