Large tree limbs were downed. The roof of an office building partially collapsed and an exhibit tent was destroyed near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
The tornado first touched down about a mile north of Fairborn in Greene County where some minor tree damage occurred in Fairborn Park. The tornado passed over the northern end of Wright Patterson Air Force Base with some additional minor tree damage located along Osborn Road in extreme northwest Greene County. The tornado then moved into extreme southeast Clark County, about 2.1 miles north-northeast of Wright Patterson Air Force Base, before ending about 1.9 miles southwest of Crystal Lakes at 2016EST.

(in one paragraph) new site of Osborn and the town of Fairfield.When the school was completed the were consolidated into the school known as Bath Township Consolidated School. was built shortly after the relocation of the town of Osborn adjacent to Fairfield. The two areas combined to become the community of Fairborn. A archeology-prehistoric Township. structure. In 1944 an annex was built behind the original structure.
