“The Anna Beir House, built in 1865 by Conrad Beir, is a historic two-story redbrick house located at 214 East 4th Street in Greenville, Ohio. Miss Anna Beir was a longtime art teacher in Greenville, who devised the house to the city of Greenville upon her death in the 1930s.”

Darke County was organized in March, 1817, from Miami County. It is abundantly timbered with poplar, walnut, blue ash, hickory, beech and sugar maple. It yields superior wheat, and is well adapted to grazing. In this county occurred the lamentable defeat of St. Clair, and the treaty of Greenville.
Greenville is the county seat, and was laid out August 10, 1808, by Robert Gray and John Dover. In December, 1793, Wayne built Fort Greenville on this spot, which covered about the same extent as the present town.

An outside furnace chimney near the heart of Greenville. The two semi-circular light Victorian moulded doors sit in a _EXCELLENT DATE. Anna Beir is right of the door. The windows are 6/6 double The gable verges steps.The walls are eight course American bond brick that project plain with sloping soffit and frieze.
