“Wesley Chapel, also known as the "Hopetown Church", is a historic church building in the unincorporated community of Hopetown, Ohio, United States. Built for a Methodist congregation, the church's earliest portion was constructed in 1834; this rectangular structure forms the core of the present building.”

WESLEY CHAPEL Rebuilt 1888." CONDITION EXCELLENT XUNALTERED GOOD CHECK ONE The structure is of common bond brick with a stone foundation. the chapel was erected in 1834. the north elevation which was added in 1888.The main portion of LMOVED -UNEXPOSED - RUINS are Gothic arched, with corbeling over the arches. Windows are divided by roof over the bay portion. The tower over the main door was destroyed three bays on the front and four on the side.All window openings The main block is rectangular with a five sided bay projection on Form No. 10-300 REV.
