Si1mificaoce: The Roxboro House is historically significant as an intact example of a minimal traditional style house. It possesses a local level of significance in the area of architecture. Description: The Roxboro House is a representative example of a minimal traditional style house. It possesses an intact floor plan consisting of a living room, dining room, kitchen and two small bedrooms off of a back hallway. Architectural features of interest include a wood shingle exterior, a side gable roof, 8/8 windows and an attached garage with the original garage door.
Histoty: The Roxboro House was built as part of the Ridgedale Park Lakeside/Kingsboro neighborhood, which is an example of a to American suburban development. This area was originally considered to be in the country and was developed with the automobile in mind. The house has had numerous owners and is currently owned by a development company and is used for rental property.
