When this property was proposed for the
National Register, someone wrote the case for it: what the building is,

Description of the property
The one-story building of frame construction is built in the shape The structure has no windows. The end of each arm of the cross has a tall, barn door. The doors are constructed of narrow, vertical At the intersection of the gable roofs there is an octagonal, one-story tower. Each face of the octagon has a single 2/2 light There are small brackets beneath the cornice of the roof of the tower. At the peak of the roof is a flagpole. Both the tower and gable roofs are covered by standing seam metal. When built the structure was used for floral, vegtable and grain boards. CONDITION DESCRIPTION DETERIORATED EXCELLENT XUNALTERED CHECK ONE of a Greek cross.It is covered with the original weatherboarding. displays at the county fair.It is still used in this manner today.

Statement of significance
Floral Hall is the only remaining original structure on the Morrow Further, the building attests to the importance of county fairs in by the Morrow County Garden Clubs. Though local records are sketchy at best, it is known that the first property for the Morrow County Fairgrounds was purchased in 1867. It is the only remaining structure of the original number, and the only structure presently on the fairgrounds which dates prior to The county fair in America has provided rural residents the opportunity to display the fruits of their labors, as well as learn some of the Amateur horticulture has been a vital part of the Morrow County Fair since its opening and Floral Hall has been at the center of this interest. The building will receive a complete facelift for the 1976 county fair.
