This building was part of the improvements to the Lawrence Machine Shop yard made by the Bolta Company. It is part of the site previously owned by Everett Mills, which was the world's largest cotton mill. Everett Mills figured prominently in Lawrence's Bread & Roses Labor Strike. Description: Building 3B is a one story, square foot building made of masonry brick walls, wood floors and roof, and cast iron columns. Part of the roof is supported on steel beams. Some areas of the floor are covered with steel tread plate and some old concrete equipment foundations exist that are flush with the floor. Beneath the building there is a crawlspace.

History: According to the current owner's records, this building was constructed in It is an extension of the much larger Building 3 and was used for tin stripping and reclamation. The purpose of the use is unknown from the sources researched. Bolta Company was the earliest owner of the building. In General Tire & Rubber Co. bought the building. That company became known as GenCorp Inc. in
