Greiner & Company Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad Company (original) Constructed in to replace an earlier bridge at this location, the Chesapeake & Ohio Bridge was part of the grand scheme of the Cincinnati Union Terminal, The construction of the terminal involved the co-operation of the seven rail lines serving the city. To match the huge terminal project, the C & 0 built what is believed to be the second largest continuous-truss ever built. Kevin Murphy, Historian HAER, July
